This year's conference will take place at National Taipei University (NTPU) August 2016 for one week. There will be a brief teacher training session. All teachers should be present for the entirety of the conference and training, and many even go early and stay later to explore the wonders of Taipei.
Be a role model to these high school students and apply to be a teacher!
Why are you interested in participating in HTLC? (Max: 150 words)

At HTLC, we lead discussion groups with the high schoolers that might touch on sensitive or controversial topics. How do you see yourself facilitating sensitive discussion among students with different opinions? (150 words)
Which of your personal strengths can you bring to the conference? (150 words)
Please outline an extracurricular activity or workshop (lecture + activity) you would be interested in leading or co-leading. Past extracurriculars have included hip hop, drama, and juggling, and past workshops have included marketing, public speaking, and debate. (A single workshop is 2 hours long and involves all the ~80 students. An extracurricular is 2 hrs/day for five days and involves around 10 students. At the end of the conference, the extracurricular class performs together in a fun, conference-wide talent show.)
